Latest farm data shows significant benefits to broilers and profits

[/vc_custom_heading][vc_single_image media=”72867″ media_width_percent=”100″][vc_column_text]We have just had the latest flock results in from one the South West Farm that has been feeding Ekogea’s BioComplex to its broiler flock since September 2018.
The results for the last flock of 162,000 birds over 37.1 days show the following key measures:

Average finished bird weight: 2.486kgs
FCR: 1.532
Pence per m2 per week: 165.32
EPEF: 425.95
Rejects: 0.89%
Mortality: 2.62%

In addition, both Podo and Hockburn are lower.

These are the best overall results the farm has EVER produced and BioComplex has helped provide a significant benefit to the Farm and the chickens over the equivalent crop last year. We believe the EPEF figure is one of the highest ever seen for a commercial grower in the South West.

The farmer is delighted as results have gradually improved since he started using BioComplex in September of last year.
