What Does BioComplex Plus for Poultry Do?

BioComplex Plus has a positive effect upon many of the key performance criteria in growing and finishing birds:

GROWTH

Expect a significant increase in live bird weight when using BioComplex Plus. Typically high yielding crops are increased by 4% in weight over identical flocks and houses.

CALMING EFFECT

Farms using BioComplex Plus have seen a noticeable and significant reduction in the aggression shown by birds. Improvements in gut health are proven to link to lower stress levels. Farms with previous issues of aggressive behaviour in their crops have been extremely pleased with this effect.

AMMONIA REDUCTION

An additional benefit of BioComplex is its ability to chemically convert the toxic gaseous ammonia in the faeces into a non-toxic crystalline ammonium.

Polyuronic Acid chemically alters ammonia and sulphur dioxide gas into crystalline forms, reducing airborne contamination and odour.

This improves the environment within the house by reducing odour and ammonia volatisation and provides a healthier environment for both animals and stockpersons, and reduces the requirement for ventilation and associated energy costs.

How Does BioComplex Plus for Poultry Work?

BioComplex is derived from marine algae processed in a unique way. It works by improving the balance of beneficial microbes in the lower gut, vital to the immunity and health of the birds, leading to more efficient digestion.
