Ekogea Appointed By Major, Multi-Site Biogas Operator

EKOGEA are pleased to announce their appointment by a major, multi-site UK biogas plant owner/ operator, to provide a full ‘end-to-end’ performance upgrade retrofit solution to a c.2MW mixed farm waste and energy crop AD facility in Devon.

This project joins a growing list of AD sites looking to gain performance improvements – both in terms of reduced OPEX and increasing AD Plant income.

Proprietary Technology Upgrade

EKOGEA’s proprietary technology upgrade will:

– Boost biogas/CH4 yield by up to 40%

– Allow for improved water-recirculation

– Increase the speed and efficiency of the process throughput

– Significantly reduce digestate transport costs off-site with up to 80% de-watering using EKOGEA’s new Farm Slurry Concentrator.

(a) BioComplex additive dosing as standard

(b) supply of EKOGEA’s Farm Slurry Concentrator

(c) Waste Water Treatment systems – cost efficient, gravity powered and fully ‘organic’ solutions which clean grey water to a quality allowing for run-off to waterways where appropriate, reducing lagoon storage costs.
