A Shropshire farm has been analysing the results of using Ekogea’s BioComplex Plus feed ingredient in their 135,000 bird Broiler Farm over the last 6 crops with very positive results.
By using BioComplex Plus the farm showed:
BioComplex Plus was added, in granulate form, to all diets from starter crumb until finish at an inclusion rate of 0.5kg/tonne of feed.
It was fed to all birds for three crops with very encouraging results. It was then removed from the Farm for two consecutive crops (‘Untreated Crops’) to see what difference it made before BioComplex Plus was used again for a further crop.
The measurements were averaged over the two untreated crops and compared with the following ‘treated crop’ and are summarised as follows:
The investment in BioComplex Plus produced a return on investment of 5 times the cost of the feed ingredient. The farmer is delighted with the results:

He is extending the use of BioComplex PLUS to other farms under his stewardship.
