EKOGEA UK are proud to announce a pioneering UK Gas to grid Anaerobic Digestion plant

The 2MW+ gas to grid plant adopts the full Ekogea AD enhancement process.  Front end pre-treatment using Micronisation is being enhanced with Ekogea’s BioComplex to increase biogas and methane yields from traditional agri feedstocks.

This is then combined with a unique Digestate Concentration Process that reduces the land spreading of ‘post digestate’ by up to 80%.

The new AD plant will inject biomethane into the national gas grid from traditional agricultural feedstocks (c. 60% chicken litter plus farm yard manures).

We’re hopeful that the plant is being seeded shortly, and expect gas flowing to grid in early 2021…lockdowns permitting!
