Animal Health Team to Present “Slurry as an Asset” to Gloucestershire Farmers

Animal Health

This February, our Animal Health team will be presenting Ekogea’s ammonia reducing  Feed Ingredients and Farm Slurry Management Systems to the Gloucestershire Grassland Society, livestock farmers in the Cotswolds

Converting Slurry into a Valuable Asset

Head of Technical Sales, Mike Clarke, and Ekogea Director, David Cosford, will be presenting our innovative Farm Slurry Concentrator (de-watering and grey water treatment system) that turns ruminant or pig slurry into a valuable farm asset, either as a high value biofertiliser or  concentrated AD feedstock.

Wastewater Facility as Standard

Ekogea’s H2e waste-water treatment facility, a small footprint, gravity-fed solution for ‘polishing’ the grey water extract from the concentration process allows farmers to discharge cleaner waste water under permit into rivers or waterways.

Interest Increases Across South West Farmers

The invitation to speak at February’s meeting follows Mike Clarke’s recent appearance in front of the NFU’s South West Dairy Committee, and the Devon Grassland Society where he presented Ekogea’s environmentally sustainable and profitable solution to farmers in those sensitive catchment areas.
