Ekogea Team To Attend World Biogas Summit 2023

Biogas & Farm Slurry Management

This week, the world’s anaerobic digestion industry will be congregating at The World Biogas Summit held at Birmingham’s NEC.  Representatives from Ekogea’s biogas team are attending and you will hopefully have an opportunity to meet on Wednesday or Thursday (at Stand C.201 ESMIL) or at the evening Awards Dinner.

AD Picture

Spanning 29th– 30th March, leading industry figures will congregate at the NEC to discuss current and future anaerobic digestion sector issues and opportunities.

Ekogea will be showcasing innovative, award winning solutions for optimising biogas yields (especially using more ‘difficult feedstocks’ – up to 75% chicken manure) and for onsite post-digestate de-watering with grey water clean-up.

Key Concerns

A key concern across the AD sector (also facing UK livestock farmers) is how to best manage post-digestate (or animal waste) spreading to land in a fully compliant manner which meets farmers’ and AD operators’ commercial objectives. Ekogea’s system helps enhance NPK bio-fertiliser values whilst reducing nitrate/ phosphate loading on fields and diffuse pollution run-off.

End to End Solutions

Ekogea has an ‘end-to-end’ solution for both AD operators and for pig/ dairy farmers which allows for low cost de-watering of wastes and ability to direct valuable Nitrogen to either the concentrated solids (which can be turned into ‘dry stackable solid) or directed into irrigation water as required.  Ekogea Concentrators with WWT are available from a c. £80,000.

Ekogea’s directors Ian Sawle, Phillip Hughes and Ian Cain will be pleased to discuss your requirements at Stand C.201 on Wednesday or Thursday this week.
